N-6
From PigBoats.COM
A closeup of the photo on the previous page showing N-6 on speed trials on the measured mile off Provincetown, Massachusetts, April 16, 1918. There are at least six men on the small bridge and one man on the deck. The circles on the left and right are the flood ports for the watertight portions of the superstructure.

N-6 and N-3 tied up together at Submarine Base New London, Connecticut, early 1920's. Note the differences in the bridge and periscope shears arrangements. The Lake and EB designs for the N-class shared little in commonality, but were both designed to meet a specific set of size and operational requirements.
