C-2 with seven lady visitors posing for the camera. Photo dated March 29, 1919 and the C-2 was stationed at Coco Solo, Panama at the time. When not in use the topside helm wheel was detached from the helm pedestal and the wheel was stowed on the side of the periscope shears, as shown here. The hatch to the conning tower is open and directly above the lady's heads.
