Becuna was commissioned May 27, 1944 and remained in service until Nov. 07, 1969
when she was decommissioned and mothballed until she was Struck from the
Ships Lists on Aug. 15, 1973. On June 21, 1976 she was given over as a museum
ship in Philadelphia, PA where she is open to the public. Go to the link
